To me, what she's playing sounds like a chorus, not V1. I envision this song to be along the lines of "Inspite of Ourselves". V1 could be her teasing him about his believes: And I'm never gonna change his mind. V2, him teasing her about hers. And I'm never gonna change her mind. Whether it be a duet, or adjusted for either gender (I'm never gonna change her/his mind, and she's/he's never gonna change my mind), the bridge would be: Maybe we don't agree, but one thing's for sure. We are meant for each other, and in it for the long haul, and no one's ever gonna change OUR mind(s).
